Falcon Trail
Falcon Trail is located on the United States Airforce Academy grounds, near the mountains and behind the stadium. This is a very popular trail in the area. It provides some great single track, and is maintained by the USAF. Everyone in your vehicle will need to have a valid ID to enter the base. This is a military facility, so keep that in mind when you're out riding.
Getting There
- Take I-25 to the Northgate Exit This will take you to the North Gate (Imagine that).
- Head west toward the gate.
- Provide identification to the guard on duty.
- Drive about a mile and Go left on Pine.
- Take the right for the Commissary.
- Park at the Commissary.
Trail Description
This is an easy trail to follow for the most part. You cross traffic in many spots, so watch for cars. Most of these are college aged kids, keep that in mind. They may or may not stop for you. Come the Commissary head across the road to the trail. You can ride either right or left. Follow the trail, and trail pins for directions, and you won't get lost.
