This trail is often closed for cattle grazing at is runs mostly through private land. With that in mind, take care and respect the property. The rancher can close it at anytime.
Getting There
- Head out Gothic Road from Crested Butte.
- When you get to the edge of town, take the trail left. You will most likely see horse trailers and cars parked. It is a very popular trail.
Trail Description
This single track is a great experience in the valley. It has steep climbs and great descents. Done counter clockwise you will end up with most of the descent on the single track. It offers stream crossings, and many other challenges. Not the least of which are the mosquitos.
