Lair o the Bear

This is a very nice dirt trail just west of Morrison.  It is a very popular day hike, and riding desination for the local Denver folks.  If anyone around Denver has trails they think should be added, send us a note with your track and we will get it loaded.

Getting There

  • Take HWY 74 out of Morrison.
  • Look for the parking area for Lair o the Bear on your left.

Trail Description

This is a very nice trail, with plenty of technical sections.  One of the nicer aspects is the wonderful house you will see along the trail that follows the stream.  You will know it when you see it.  It's a great place for weddings and parties.  Take the trail along the stream until you see the switchback left.  Continue to climb through Corwina Park.  This track is short, but there are many other options for riding here.  Check it out and have a ball!
