In addition, you might get lucky and make it there when hang gliders decide to head off the summit. It's really something to watch.
Getting There
- Go to Mt. Crested Butte and pick a road toward the ski area.

The best way to ride this track is to follow the road up, and then take the single track trails down. You will be greeted with great views of the valley, and the surrounding mountains. When you get to the top of the road, you will be met with stairs. Hikeabike to the top if you like, or turn around and head down to the resort.
