Kenosha Pass to Georgia Pass

This trail is one of the best rides in Colorado.  It runs from Kenosha Pass to Georgia Pass, running above treeline.  Connect the ride from Breckenridge to Keystone, and you have one hell of an afternoon of riding.

Getting There

  • Take HWY 285 to Kenosha Pass.
  • Park at the west side lot at the top of the pass.

Trail Description

Cross the road from the Ranger Station and ride north on 67 about 100 yards to your first left.  Ride up the road to the first single track on your left.  Ride up through the old burn area until you reach the first saddle.  From here take the left up, and ride until you reach the road.  Cross the road to the Colorado Trail entrance.  When you get to Colorado Trail go right.  Follow the trail until you see the turnoff for Green Mountain on your left.  Follow around the mountain, heading left when you get to the Colorado Trail intersection.  Stay on the trail, crossing roads until you take the right on Red Feather.  Follow Red Feather across the road and back into Buffalo Creek.  When you get to the wood fence, follow the trail down to where you parked.
